Succumb To Seduction

Salad of grilled Fremantle Octopus, chorizo sausage, raddichio & torn parsley

:: 70g steamed octopus
:: serves 1 as a entree

Prep & Cook

Grill sliced steamed hands with chorizo and other ingredients. Plate and Serve.

Sublime In Red Wine

Red wine braised Fremantle Octopus with cinnamon & bay leaf

:: 175g raw octopus
:: serves 1 as an entree

Prep & Cook

Panfry onions and raw octopus with red wine and garlic. De glaze with red wine, add bay leaves and cinnamon. Cook for 1 hour in preheated 200°C oven. Serve with hot bread. 

Succulent Mains

Linguine with sliced Fremantle Octopus, tomato, garlic, chilli, white wine & basil.

:: serves 1 as a main

Prep & Cook

Toss the sliced steamed octopus hands through a light tomato sauce with linguini pasta. Add a handful of parsley and serve.

Deliciously Decadent

Beef battered Fremantle Octopus with aioli & lemon

:: 70g steamed octopus
:: serves 1 as an entree

Prep & Cook

Make cold beer batter and set aside in fridge. Preheat deep fryer to 180°C. Once hot, slice steamed octopus hands, flour and batter. Deep fry until golden brown.

Tempting Treat

Gourmet pizza of grilled Fremantle Octopus, tomato, oregano, haloumi

:: 50g raw octopus
:: serves 1 as an entree

Prep & Cook

Grill a couple of raw octopus tentacles on the char grill until cooked, then cut up into small pieces. Make pizza and finish with cut up octopus then cook in the pizza oven.

Tantalising Tapas

Fremantle Octopus balls: chilli, garlic, parsley, crumbed & fried

:: 100g raw octopus
= 8 pieces

Prep & Cook

Mince raw octopus with chilli, garlic and parsley. Shape into balls then flour, egg and crumb. Deep fry at 180°C until golden brown.

Blissful Bites

Fremantle Octopus skewers in pizza oven

:: 50g steamed octopus
per skewer

Prep & Cook

Cut up steamed hands, skewer and marinate. Cook in pizza oven for 5 minutes or until brown.

Sassy Salad

Fremantle Octopus on Greek salad: cucumber, red peppers, white onion, tomato, parsley, olives, feta, lemon, oregano, garlic & EVOO

:: 150g steamed octopus
:: Serves 2 as a sharing entree
:: Serves 1 as a main

Prep & Cook

Cut up Greek salad. Make dressing with garlic, lemon, oregano, vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. Slice steamed octopus hands. Toss through salad and serve.
